Climate-neutral production at all Utz Group plants

Sustainability has always been a matter close to our hearts at Utz.

With our climate strategy, we are going one step further and using it to make our contribution to achieving the Paris climate targets of 2015. By 2035, we will reduce our CO₂ footprint by 60% per kilogram of plastic processed.

The measures already initiated, will show measurable success from year to year. In addition, we have decided to immediately offset all direct and indirect emissions (mainly from fossil energy) through certified climate protection projects. Thus, all Utz operations worldwide produce climate neutrally.

By 2030, we will use 100% renewable energy to manufacture our products. This will eliminate the need for offsetting, and we will then produce completely emission-free.
