    Celebrating 60 years

    of the versatile RAKO container

A legacy of innovation: the RAKO story

In 1965, Georg Utz introduced the RAKO family, a revolutionary step forward in logistics packaging. Inspired by architectural principles, the RAKO design mimics the construction of a temple: four strong corner sections form supporting columns, providing the "frame construction" that gives the container its legendary stability.

From the first open-work side walls introduced in 1966 to today's ESD-safe versions for electronics, RAKO has evolved alongside industry demands while maintaining the structural integrity that made it an icon. Today, the family comprises 96 different size variants, proving that intelligent design is timeless.
